About the Cathedral

Giving

St Paul's Cathedral is one of Melbourne's landmarks attracting more than 300,000 visitors each year. An historic building, this Cathedral is a priceless inheritance; the fabric requires constant attention and repair and only the highest standards of workmanship and materials are employed.

The Cathedral has a full program of daily worship and pastoral care, and maintains a full English Choral tradition of the highest quality.

As the Cathedral receives no direct State aid and is not funded by, nor does it receive any subsidy from, the Diocese of Melbourne, St Paul's relies on the support of regular worshippers, friends, and visitors. It costs about $3,000 a day to maintain the Cathedral.

Your contribution to our ministry and conservation is most gratefully received. Donations over $2 towards our conservation or musical life are fully tax-deductible. They should be sent to the Very Revd Dr Andreas Loewe, Dean of Melbourne, 209 Flinders Lane, Melbourne 3000 by mail, accompanied by this form if you would like to support our conservation, or this form if you would like to to support our music foundation.

Thank you for your gift.
